Our client is currently in search of a dependable and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to fill a contract position in Austin, TX. This 5-month contract, with the possibility of extension, is designed to support the financial operations of a rapidly expanding global SaaS company in the United States and Canada. This presents an outstanding opportunity for an individual keen on acquiring international accounting exposure within a dynamic and high-achieving team environment.

Junior Accountant Role:- Support U.S. finance team in managing accounting activities for the U.S. and Canada, involving multiple international entities
- Execute invoice processing, payment handling, and bank transaction analysis
- Apply customer payments and oversee accounts receivable follow-ups
- Monitor vendor operations and update system databases
- Maintain precise credit card and expense records
- Assist with month-end journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with global finance teams on tax compliance matters (Sales Tax / VAT)
- Utilize NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Excel for financial data management
- Assist with general ledger and operational accounting duties
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in handling repetitive processes
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting (AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliations)
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian accounting standards
- Basic knowledge of sales tax and VAT is advantageous
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort with ERP systems
- Experience working with NetSuite and QuickBooks
- Strong time management and communication abilities
