Description

We are looking for a dedicated Journeyman Industrial Certified Telecoms Technician to join our dynamic team at Per Se Group. In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunication systems in various industrial settings. A typical day will involve working on projects that include fiber optics and low voltage installations, operating on-site to ensure seamless connectivity for our clients. You'll bring your skills to life as you splice fiber, install fanout kits and patch panels, and conduct cable testing, all while collaborating with a team of professionals who value quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Journeyman License: State or Industry Certified
• Experience: 5+ years in telecom installation and industrial construction
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of telecom systems, fiber optics, and low voltage (≤120V) installations
• Installation Expertise: Proficient in fiber splicing, fanout kit installation, patch panels, and cable testing
• Signal Troubleshooting: Experience installing and troubleshooting Cat6 signal cable
• Transportation: Reliable transportation is essential (local candidates can commute; out-of-town candidates may use per diem for hotel accommodations)

• Familiarity with various industry standards and safety regulations
• Experience in project management or leading small teams
• Knowledge of network design and implementation
• Certifications in additional networking technologies
