Description

Join Citi as an IT Business Lead Analyst, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial services technology. In this position, you will analyze and investigate issues related to capital markets, engage with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, and transform those requirements into actionable functional specifications. A typical day might include querying data across various databases, updating and maintaining functional specifications, and designing comprehensive test scenarios for system integration testing and user acceptance testing. You'll also be responsible for utilizing quality assurance tools to ensure our systems meet the highest standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation within the financial services industry.
• Proven experience in analyzing and investigating capital markets issues, particularly in general ledger posting and reporting.
• Strong ability to interact with stakeholders to gather business requirements and convert them into functional specifications for data flow related to capital markets.
• Experience in updating functional specifications and managing release changes in production environments.
• Expertise in querying multi-database systems, including Oracle, SQL Server, and PL/SQL, for backend financial data validation and verification.
• Capabilities in designing, developing, and executing business and functional test case scenarios for system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.
• Proficiency in utilizing Quality Assurance tools such as ALM, Jira, and Sharepoint for test scenario creation, functional testing, logging results, and maintaining test strategy documentation.
