👷 About the Role

As a Residential Installation Technician, you’ll work closely with customers to design, install, and service smart home security systems. You’ll be the face of ADT—delivering peace of mind and top-tier service to homes and small businesses in the Miami area.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer needs and recommend optimal security solutions.

• Install, test, and ensure functionality of all equipment.

• Train customers on system operation.

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work sites.

• Identify and recommend system improvements.

• Safeguard tools, equipment, and unused materials.

• Collaborate with team members in a dynamic field environment.

✅ Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Strong technical aptitude.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work on-site at homes or businesses.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Electronic Trade School or technical training.

• Previous experience with alarm systems or home automation tech.

💰 Estimated Salary Range

💵 $20 – $28/hour → $41,600 – $58,240/year

Based on market rates in the Miami, FL area for entry- to mid-level installation techs with relevant experience.
