Starting Pay Rate: $31.72/hour
Schedule: Varies by facility and operational needs

Overview

The Industrial Maintenance Technician supports bakery operations by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance while maintaining strict safety, quality, and performance standards.

This role requires a strong technical mindset, hands-on mechanical experience, and the ability to adapt and rotate across multiple areas of the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to support optimal equipment efficiency

  • Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, and general shop practices

  • Apply knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Follow all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)

  • Meet attendance and work schedule requirements and follow operating rules

  • Possess or attain required licenses (as applicable by location) to work with boilers, refrigeration components, and other regulated equipment

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following technical areas:

    • HVAC

    • Electrical

    • Welding

    • Industrial equipment maintenance

    • Automotive or diesel repair

  • Ability to rotate job assignments and adapt to evolving equipment and technology

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Technical or Trade School certification or diploma

  • Experience in multiple technical disciplines listed above

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
