Rooter Hero is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our San Diego team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems while delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems with efficiency and accuracy

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and new installations

• Use diagnostic tools and best practices to identify system issues

• Provide excellent customer service and clearly explain repair options

• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition

• Ensure all work complies with codes, safety standards, and company policies

• Support teammates and contribute to a positive work culture

Requirements

• 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience or equivalent trade school training with hands-on experience

• EPA Certification required

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

• Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work independently

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
