💼 HVAC Field Sales Manager (Comfort Advisor)

About the Role

Rooter Hero is seeking a driven HVAC Field Sales Manager (Comfort Advisor) to join our Sacramento team. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to provide comfort solutions while managing and supporting HVAC installation teams. This position is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives on customer interaction, technical expertise, and sales performance. Responsibilities

• Serve as a sales leader and comfort advisor for residential HVAC customers

• Conduct in-home consultations to assess needs and provide tailored HVAC solutions

• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

• Drive sales performance and meet or exceed company revenue goals

• Train, mentor, and support HVAC staff in customer service and technical best practices

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and industry standards

• Maintain flexibility to meet client and team scheduling needs

Requirements

• 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred (trade school or apprentice background also considered)

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Strong mechanical skills and ability to use HVAC tools/equipment

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors)

• Comfortable working directly with customers and providing excellent service

• Strong communication and sales skills with the ability to close deals

• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening

• EPA Certification preferred but not required

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
