Position: Recruiting Manager

We are currently looking for an accomplished Recruiting Manager to lead all recruitment activities for a diverse workforce of over 250 employees spread across various retail locations in the Baltimore region. The ideal candidate will be proactive, empathetic, and committed to fostering a vibrant organizational culture, boosting engagement, and ensuring compliance in a dynamic retail setting.

  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding.
  • Collaborate with store and corporate leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and ensure uniform employee experiences.
  • Develop and implement policies that cultivate a positive work environment, enhance retention rates, and drive productivity.
  • Offer guidance to managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure HR compliance by adhering to federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Supervise payroll and benefits administration in conjunction with corporate HR and external partners.
  • Analyze workforce metrics to facilitate decision-making and reporting.
  • Organize training programs to elevate employee skills and engagement levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a multi-site or retail environment.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws such as EEO, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex employee relations issues with sensitivity and fairness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and payroll software.
  • Preferred certification: PHR or SHRM-CP.
