Position Overview

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining resort units to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards. You’ll help ensure guests enjoy a spotless, welcoming environment and that all units are ready for inspection and occupancy in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning and attention to detail

• Strip soiled linens and remove trash from units

• Clean all areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces

• Report completed units as “vacant and ready for inspection”

• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or missing inventory

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply closets

• Attend and participate in all required training sessions

• Follow all safety protocols and assist in addressing guest concerns

• Ensure timely completion of all assigned units

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (with or without accommodation)

• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math

• Excellent time management and teamwork skills

• Availability to work flexible or irregular hours

• Passion for cleanliness and guest satisfaction

Work Environment

You’ll work in active resort conditions that may include exposure to cleaning chemicals, laundry environments, and odors. Team members must follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
