Description
As a Guest Services Associate at PeopleScout, you will be the welcoming face for our guests, ensuring they feel valued and supported during their visits. Your key responsibilities will include assisting guests with their inquiries, resolving any complaints in a calm and professional manner, and providing top-notch customer service. A typical day may involve checking in guests, managing front desk operations using a POS system, and collaborating with team members to enhance the guest experience. Your goal will be to create a friendly atmosphere, making every interaction memorable and positive.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of recent experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality, retail, or similar).
- Fluency in spoken and written English with the ability to communicate clearly with guests.
- Comfortable handling and resolving guest complaints in a calm and professional manner.
- Experience using a front desk or POS system in a previous role (e.g., Opera, OnQ, Square, etc.).
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.
- Reliable transportation or dependable access to the work location.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Basic knowledge of local attractions to assist guests with recommendations.
- Ability to speak multiple languages, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Experience with conflict resolution and customer satisfaction strategies.
