Description

As a Group Facilitator at Charlie Health, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting young individuals through their mental health journeys. You'll lead group therapy sessions, encouraging open communication and fostering a safe space for participants to express their thoughts and feelings. A typical day may involve preparing session materials, facilitating discussions, and collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure everyone receives the support they need. Your empathy and expertise will help create long-lasting connections and promote healing among our participants.

Requirements

• Strong background in mental health support, counseling, or social work.
• Experience facilitating group therapy or similar settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with participants.
• Ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working with young people or in a virtual therapy environment.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
• Certification in group facilitation or related areas.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities.
