Position: Government Contracts Manager

Location: Surprise, AZ

Company Profile: A reputable Freight and Logistics Company

Overview:

• Lead end-to-end contract processes from identification to closeout
• Translate RFP challenges into successful proposals and negotiate awards
• Expert in navigating FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific compliance
• Establish and nurture relationships with government stakeholders
• Collaborate with teams to ensure contractual success
• Create cost proposals and manage contract modifications
• Monitor metrics for resource optimization and profitability
• Maintain exemplary records and support audits with integrity
• Advise on risk assessment and contracting opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Public Administration, or related field
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain necessary security clearances
• Minimum 5 years of experience in U.S. federal government contracting
• Proficiency in FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement
• Experience with GSA schedules, DoD, DHS, and other agencies
• Skilled in contract management systems and government portals
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
