Are you handy with tools and enjoy solving problems? As a General Maintenance Technician at Holiday Inn Club Vacations, you will play a vital role in keeping our vacation resorts in top shape. Your key responsibilities will include performing skilled work in general maintenance, such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks. Each day will be diverse, requiring you to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure a welcoming environment for our guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience or vocational training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet the company’s required motor vehicle policy standards.
• Ability to perform skilled work in general maintenance tasks.
• High-quality skills in painting, tiling, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
• Experience in finish and trim-out construction work.
• Specializations in drywall finishing, cabinetry, flooring, and laminate repair.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for repair work.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools, along with a sound mechanical aptitude.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions and complete necessary documentation related to unit maintenance.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the hospitality industry.
• Certifications in any relevant trades or maintenance.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
