### Job Description We are a leading staffing company seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our clients team as a General Manager for a dispensary located in a bustling financial district. This role offers the opportunity to lead a retail operation in a fast-paced, high-profile environment, ensuring excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and a passion for creating a positive experience for both customers and employees. ### Requirements / Responsibilities - Oversee daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning - Manage and lead a diverse team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation - Maintain compliance with all state and local regulations related to dispensary operations - Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales and profitability - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability - Handle customer service issues and resolve conflicts effectively - Collaborate with marketing to promote the dispensary within the local community - Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff - Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and operational metrics - Foster a culture of teamwork, integrity, and professional development ### Qualifications - Proven experience in retail management, preferably in dispensary or related industries - Strong leadership and team management skills - Experience with various POS systems such as Treez - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing dispensaries - Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and sales targets - Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment - High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred - Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software ### Job Details / Duties - Opening and closing the dispensary according to schedule - Scheduling and supervising staff shifts and responsibilities - Conducting regular inventory audits and ordering supplies as needed - Training new employees and providing ongoing coaching - Addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly - Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards - Reporting on sales performance and operational challenges to senior management - Coordinating with security personnel to maintain a safe environment ### Shifts This position requires flexibility with varied schedules within retail hours. The workweek is divided as follows: - Sunday through Wednesday: Shifts generally run from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM - Thursday through Saturday: Shifts generally run from 8:00 AM to midnight The schedule may vary to accommodate retail operational needs within these hours. **_About Vangst:_**   _Vangst is the cannabis industry’s hiring platform.
