Start your new career as a Rail Yard Assistant with MAU at South Carolina Ports Authority in Charleston, SC. As a Rail Yard Assistant, you will support rail transportation operations by preparing shipments and safely moving vehicles in the yard.

- High school diploma or GED
- Valid South Carolina Driver’s License
- TWIC card required
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- 5+ years of clean driving history
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including weekends and overtime
- Open and close heavy railcar doors
- Remove and secure wheel chocks and bridge plates
- Safely operate personal motor vehicles in confined yard spaces
- Park vehicles in designated shipment areas
- Perform additional duties as assigned
