**About the Role:** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cannabis Garden Technician to join our cultivation team. This role is hands-on and essential to producing high-quality cannabis plants. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of cultivation practices. You will work closely with the cultivation manager and other team members to maintain healthy crops and ensure production goals are met. **Key Responsibilities:** - Care for cannabis plants at all stages of growth, including seedlings, clones, vegetative, and flowering plants. - Monitor plant health, including signs of pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stress. - Prepare and administer nutrients and irrigation according to cultivation schedules. - Assist with cloning, transplanting, and pruning plants to optimize growth and yield. - Maintain clean and organized grow spaces, including sanitization of tools and work areas. - Record and maintain cultivation logs, including growth metrics, treatments, and environmental conditions. - Operate and maintain cultivation equipment such as lights, fans, HVAC systems, and irrigation systems. - Assist with harvesting, trimming, and preparation for packaging when needed. - Follow all safety protocols and comply with state cannabis regulations and company policies. **Required Qualifications:** - Previous experience in horticulture, greenhouse, or cannabis cultivation preferred (1–3+ years). - Knowledge of cannabis cultivation techniques, including propagation, pruning, and nutrient management. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely. - Team player with a positive attitude, patience, and good communication skills. - Must not have a personal home grow that could introduce pests. - Willing to participate in a 30-day trial period to ensure the role is a good fit. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with hydroponic systems or controlled environment agriculture. - Familiarity with cannabis strains, genetics, and plant care best practices. - Ability to take direction and maintain detailed daily cultivation reports. **Skills & Attributes:** - Passion for cannabis and working with plants. - Strong observational and problem-solving skills. - Dependable, consistent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team. **Physical Requirements:** - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. - Must be able to stand, bend, and move around for long periods of time.
