Location: London, ON
Pay Rate: $18.35/hour
Employment Type: Casual
Hours: Various shifts
Overtime: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

About the Role

As a Casual Security Guard with Paladin Security, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment across a variety of sites. You’ll perform patrols, assist employees and visitors, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional service in all situations. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, professional, and ready to step into an active, client-facing role.

Key Responsibilities

Assist visitors, clients, and staff during emergencies or crises
Conduct proactive interior and exterior patrols to ensure site safety
Attend and investigate alarms or incidents promptly and calmly
De-escalate crises and liaise with emergency responders as needed (police, fire, paramedics)
Provide first aid and medical response when required
Handle Lost & Found items and maintain accurate records
Build positive relationships with clients and team members through clear communication and professionalism
Follow direction from site leadership and Paladin management, performing tasks as assigned

Requirements

Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (from a WSIB-approved provider)
Fluent English communication skills (oral and written)
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Willingness to complete Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certifications prior to onboarding

📝 Note: UOF/MOAB certifications are pre-employment requisites (unpaid), but Paladin covers all associated costs for candidates who commit to a 6-month availability period.
