Description

As a Financial Aid Associate at Western Governors University, you will play a crucial role in guiding students on their financial aid journey. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting students with their financial aid applications, answering inquiries, and ensuring they understand the financial assistance options available to them. You'll work closely with the financial aid team to process applications, maintain accurate records, and support students in navigating the complexities of funding their education. You will engage with students via phone, email, and chat to provide exceptional support and create a positive experience in their pursuit of higher education.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial aid, student services, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively assist and guide students.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple student cases efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Proficient in utilizing technology and software applications relevant to financial aid processes.
