Description

As a Field Service Technician at Rivian, you will play a vital role in ensuring our electric adventure vehicles are performing at their best. You will work both independently and alongside a team, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance. A typical day may involve traveling to a customer location, using your technical skills to resolve various vehicle issues, and documenting your work using a laptop or tablet. Your dedication will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional vehicle experiences while preserving the natural world.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Graduated from an accredited automotive repair school is preferred
• 5 or more years of experience in a traditional automotive repair shop
• Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools
• Skilled in navigating a laptop or computer, whether in a Windows or Mac environment
• Understanding of basic diagnosis procedures and workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience working with electric vehicles
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
