Facility Maintenance Technician

Start your new career as a Facility Maintenance Technician with MAU at GE in Longmont, CO. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will support the safe and efficient operation of facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of practical experience preferred
- Experience with Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and scissor lifts preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software)
- Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in elevated areas
- Oversee daily building operations to ensure safety and compliance
- Perform and document daily facility rounds to prevent issues and downtime
- Complete and communicate progress on assigned work orders
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on infrastructure and production equipment
- Conduct environmental health and safety inspections
- Assemble, repair, and modify furniture, equipment, and workstations
- Execute facility improvement projects such as painting, 5S upgrades, and wall patching
- Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, office supplies, and vending services
- Maintain shared spaces, including café areas and conference rooms
- Comply with GE Vernova standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines
