The Event Representative is responsible for driving community engagement, building relationships, and achieving sales through participation in local events. This role serves as a brand ambassador, connecting with customers, prospects, and community partners to promote products and services while identifying new opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Represent the company at local events, meetings, and networking functions to foster relationships that generate sales.
- Build partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and influencers.
- Meet or exceed defined sales goals through prospecting, lead qualification, and closing.
- Plan and execute sponsorships, pop-up events, MDU events, and outreach campaigns.
- Engage with customers to identify needs and recommend solutions; escalate issues as needed.
- Act as a local point of contact, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Provide guidance on market trends and engagement strategies.
- Support new employee training and onboarding efforts.
- Collaborate with leadership to align initiatives and share best practices.
- Track and report event performance, including leads and sales.
- Ensure events are staffed, equipped, and executed to standard.
- Maintain accurate records of event activities and customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Experience in event coordination, sales, or community outreach.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to move and set up event equipment and materials.
