Sanitation Technician (Evening Shift)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Sanitation Technician to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our edibles kitchen. This role is essential for upholding food safety standards and ensuring smooth operations. Candidates must possess an OLCC Marijuana License and a valid Food Handler’s Permit to be eligible.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and surfaces daily.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules to comply with food safety regulations and company standards.
• Properly handle and dispose of waste, recycling, and compost.
• Maintain cleaning logs in compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing and sanitation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify the team when restocking is needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe, clean, and organized facility.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler’s Permit (required).
• Previous experience in sanitation, preferably in a food production or kitchen setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices (HACCP and GMP knowledge is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in temperature-controlled environments.
