Electrical Apprentice

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their career in the electrical trade while gaining hands-on experience under the supervision of licensed electricians.

You’ll assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, or industrial job sites. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in installing wiring systems, outlets, lighting, circuit breakers, and other electrical components

  • Measure, cut, and bend conduit and wire using hand tools and power tools

  • Pull wire through conduit and perform basic terminations under supervision

  • Support electricians with troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness

  • Follow safety procedures and local electrical codes

  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and schematics

  • Attend required training and classes toward licensure and certifications


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Enrollment in or willingness to join a state-approved apprenticeship program

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

  • Willingness to work in a variety of environments (indoor/outdoor, heights, tight spaces)

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a desire to learn the trade


Preferred but Not Required

  • Prior experience in construction or general labor

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

  • Basic knowledge of tools and electrical materials
