Start your new career as an Industrial Electrical Assembler with MAU at Aerowerks Corporation in Gaffney, SC. As an Industrial Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling control panels, installing electrical components, and ensuring proper functionality of custom material handling equipment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation or maintenance, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • High school diploma or GED - preferred
  • Vocational training or technical certification in electrical or industrial systems – preferred
  • Working knowledge of control panels, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and relay logic systems
  • Skilled in using electrical testing tools such as multimeters
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Must own basic electrical hand tools and wear steel-toed boots
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. for on-site equipment installations
What You’ll Do as an Industrial Electrical Assembler:
  • Build control panels from electrical schematics
  • Install switches, sensors, motors, and other components
  • Run conduit and pull wiring between panels and devices
  • Energize and test equipment for proper functionality
  • Install and secure control panels and junction boxes
  • Configure sensors and relay-based systems
  • Use diagnostic tools like multimeters and amp clamps
  • Install and test AC motors with VFDs
  • Troubleshoot PLCs and control system issues
  • Maintain inventory of electrical parts and tools
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and circuit layouts
  • Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Assist in other departments as needed
