Description

As a Dishwasher at WorkWhile, you will play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use. You will also help maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station, assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, and follow food safety standards to support a safe work environment. By keeping the kitchen stocked with clean tools and equipment, you will directly contribute to the success of the culinary team.

Requirements

• Hands-on Experience: At least one prior experience working as a dishwasher or in a food service kitchen.

• Dishwashing Knowledge: Familiarity with the three-compartment sink method and/or operation of a commercial dishwasher.

• Food Safety Awareness: Ability to follow sanitation practices and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

• Reliability: Strong work ethic and ability to manage repetitive tasks consistently.

• Team Player: Willingness to support cooks, servers, and other staff to keep operations running smoothly.

Nice to Have

• Catering or Event Support: Experience handling high-volume dishwashing at banquets, catering events, or large restaurants.

• Kitchen Prep Support: Willingness to assist with light prep or cleanup duties when needed.

• Organization Skills: Ability to keep dishware, utensils, and kitchen tools sorted and ready for quick turnaround.
