Description

As a Diesel Mechanic at Premier Truck Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet of trucks operates efficiently and safely. Your daily responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting various mechanical issues. You will work closely with your team to ensure that each truck is in top condition, allowing us to meet the needs of our customers. Your typical day will involve hands-on work in our service bays, and you’ll have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art tools and technology.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in diesel technology or a related field
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine mechanics and repairs
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Valid driver's license

Nice to Have

• Experience with Freightliner or Western Star trucks
• ASE certification
• Knowledge of electronic diagnostic tools
• Experience in customer service or client interaction
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime
