About the team

Turo is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team and turbo-charge Turo’s growth in the US. The Data Analyst will have the opportunity to liaise with many cross-functional teams and executives across the entire company to drive growth initiatives. The ideal person for this role is passionate about data, growth, product and marketplaces and will be able to leverage all of our data to help our business development and host success teams make the best possible decisions. 

What you will do


Job Duties:

  • Analyze business performance trends and provide insights to inform decisions and identify opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to execute and measure A/B tests.

  • Conduct exploratory analysis to uncover product insights and solve business challenges.

  • Support ad-hoc analytical projects aligned with Turo's strategic priorities.

  • Present findings to stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams to ensure rapid execution and iteration.

  • Develop new dashboards for performance metrics, maintain existing ones, and ensure their accuracy.

  • Work closely with Data Engineering and BI teams to improve reporting infrastructure.

  • Maintain intellectual honesty and integrity throughout all tasks.

  • Telecommuting is an option.

Your profile


Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Economics, Data Analysis, or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements:

(1) Languages used for querying – SQL/Python (2 years);
(2) reporting/dashboarding software (2 years);
(3) Designing, running and evaluating results of A/B tests (2 years);
(4) MS office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint (2 years);
(5) two sided marketplace data warehouse environment (2 years);
(6) AWS (2 years);
(7) Version control tools, including Git/Github (2 years); and
(8) CI/CD tools (1 year).
 

For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco, CA is $145,000.00 - $159,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
