This role is responsible for accurately processing, reviewing, and managing customer orders while serving as the primary point of contact for the sales team on all order-related inquiries. The position works closely with Inventory Control, Production, and Fulfillment to resolve logistical challenges and ensure orders are properly packed, labeled, and shipped on schedule. Strong communication is essential, as this role provides timely, professional support to customers across multiple channels, addressing issues efficiently and keeping them informed of delivery ETAs, account balances, and any necessary updates.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
- Process and manage sales orders with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Review incoming orders, identify discrepancies, and communicate necessary corrections to sales teams or customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for brand and bulk sales teams regarding order-related questions and issues.
- Partner with Inventory Control, Production, and Fulfillment teams to address logistical concerns and ensure successful order completion.
- Verify that all orders are properly packed, labeled, and shipped according to company standards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customers via email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Resolve order, product, or delivery-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide real-time support to distribution drivers to ensure swift resolution of any delivery concerns.
- Communicate delivery ETAs and accounts payable balances to customers as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or a similar role (experience in manufacturing, cannabis, or related industries is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Metrc, inventory management, or order management systems (e.g., Metrc, Cultivera, ERP platforms) is a plus — **please highlight this experience on the resume.**
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
- Highly collaborative and able to work effectively across multiple teams to support customer needs.
**Education:**
- Associate degree or higher.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Occasional periods of standing, climbing ladders, and handling inventory.
