As a Facilities Custodian, you will maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of SHL Medical’s cutting-edge pharmaceutical manufacturing facility through expert cleaning, disinfecting, and general maintenance.
What We Offer:

- Third shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (2,2,3 schedule)
- Compressed workweek: typically, 3 to 4 days per week

What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of janitorial or professional housekeeping experience
- Prior experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical cleaning highly preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA and FDA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet departmental goals
- Willingness to work holidays and weekends as needed
What You’ll Do as a Facilities Custodian:
- Ensure consistent cleaning and disinfecting across SHL Medical facilities
- Sanitize high-touch areas including restrooms, offices, and conference rooms
- Clean glass, baseboards, ledges, stairwells, and warehouse spaces
- Refill and manage inventory of soap, paper products, and cleaning supplies
- Handle waste removal and proper disposal
- Disinfect production areas, cafeterias, common spaces, and gowning rooms
- Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning machinery
- Perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment
- Report facility issues and submit maintenance work orders
- Assist with seasonal facility prep (e.g., winter readiness)
- Provide training and guidance to fellow custodial team members
- Follow all safety protocols and quality standards
