Cultiviation Technician

### **Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking **Cannabis Cultivation Technician** to join our cultivation team. This hands-on position is vital to the daily operations of our grow facility and is best suited for individuals who thrive in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the health and quality of our plants throughout their life cycle.

### **Key Responsibilities:**
- **Hand Watering & Nutrient Delivery:**
- Accurately hand-water plants using a 1-gallon pitcher up to 200 times per day.
- Mix and administer nutrient solutions as directed by cultivation leads.
- Monitor plant response and report abnormalities.
- **Heavy Lifting & Physical Labor:**
- Move and position up to **2,000 five-gallon pots** filled with soil and plants as needed.
- Safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly).
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized grow environment.
- **Plant Care & Cultivation Tasks:**
- Perform **pruning, defoliation, and trimming** to maintain plant health and optimize yield.
- Transplant plants between containers or grow rooms based on growth stage.
- Track and document plant progress and report issues to cultivation supervisors.
- **Sanitation & Compliance:**
- Follow strict cleanliness and sanitation procedures to ensure biosecurity.
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
- Properly handle tools and materials with attention to plant safety and facility protocols.

### **Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in cannabis cultivation or horticulture preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods (bending, lifting, walking).
- Comfortable working in hot, humid, or wet conditions (depending on the grow environment).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be 21+ years old and eligible to work in the cannabis industry in Oregon.
- Must have an OLCC Permit

### **Work Environment & Schedule:**
- Full-time position; schedule may include weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Indoor facility with exposure to grow lights, soil, and natural plant compounds.
