Cultivation Technician
Cannabis Cultivation Technician
Location: Denver, CO
Position Summary
Our client is seeking energetic Cannabis Cultivation Technicians to join their rapidly growing team. This position involves performing farming tasks to achieve weekly cultivation objectives and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility. Candidates must hold a valid MED Badge.
Essential Duties
- Perform farming tasks, including defoliating, transferring, harvesting, and cleaning cannabis plants.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures for cannabis cultivation workflows.
- Accurately record and report data to support cultivation operations.
- Clean and sanitize all areas, equipment, and materials in the cultivation facility.
- Assist other departments, including post-harvest and production tasks, as needed.
- Monitor and report plant health issues to the Manager of Farm for resolution.
Training Requirements
- Follow training and direction from the Lead and Supervisor of Farm.
- Understand and operate within state regulations for cannabis cultivation.
- Engage in ongoing training aligned with the company’s mission and leadership development initiatives.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with state laws and regulations related to cannabis cultivation.
- Secure and organize METRC tags and harvest batches.
- Update and track required information in logs and spreadsheets daily.
- Report compliance or safety issues to leadership for resolution.
Working Conditions
- Work in an indoor agricultural environment with protective coveralls.
- Perform tasks requiring kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Consistently attend scheduled shifts, including occasional overtime as needed.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment with agricultural conditions.
Job Qualifications
- Valid MED Badge required.
- Demonstrated ability to meet productivity and performance requirements.
- Professional and respectful verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and follow directions effectively.
