Cultivation Supervisor

### **Summary**
The Cultivation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the cultivation department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This role supervises cultivation staff, coordinates activities, and works closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow, maintain compliance, and improve overall plant production.

### **Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and complete all assigned cultivation tasks.
- Schedule and coordinate employee work, set priorities, and direct daily operations.
- Determine staffing needs and allocate resources efficiently.
- Prepare materials in advance and coordinate with maintenance to ensure all equipment functions properly.
- Monitor plant quality, report issues, and collaborate with the growing team to address concerns.
- Work with teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Create planting maps and ensure accurate tracking in the METRC system.
- Verify correct labeling of plants with variety and harvest numbers.
- Accurately weigh and record green waste in Trellis software.
- Track employee hours and maintain records in the time clock system.
- Complete administrative tasks, including reports and documentation.
- Ensure PPE use and OSHA compliance.
- Coordinate plant transfers with logistics and other cultivation departments.
- Maintain a safe work environment and report accidents or incidents to Safety and HR.

### **Required Competencies**
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adjust plans as needed.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and on-call for emergencies.

### **Education & Experience**
- Minimum 1–2 years of greenhouse or cultivation experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory role.

### **Requirements**
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Able to work a minimum 40-hour week.
- Comfortable working in greenhouse conditions (high humidity, varying temperatures).
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move 15–50 pounds.

### **Physical Demands**
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands/arms for tasks.
- Ability to operate necessary tools and equipment safely.

### **Work Environment**
- Work occurs primarily in greenhouse conditions.
- Occasional travel between office and farm sites may be required.
