About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Counter Sales Associate to join our West Palm Beach branch. In this role, you’ll provide outstanding customer service at our parts counter while handling inquiries by phone, email, or online. You’ll support the branch with merchandising, stocking, and product returns, ensuring customers always have the products and information they need to get the job done right.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Provide excellent in-person and remote customer service (phone, email, scanner, etc.)
✅ Process customer orders for stock and special-order products
✅ Coordinate customer deliveries and follow up on backorders and will-call pickups
✅ Perform general warehouse tasks including stocking, picking, pulling, and merchandise displays
✅ Maintain accurate inventory control and reporting
✅ Conduct product inspections and quality checks
✅ Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment
✅ Complete assigned training to maintain product knowledge and branch standards
✅ Collaborate with other team members to resolve customer questions or issues
✅ Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

✔ High school diploma or GED
✔ Minimum 2 years of customer service or counter sales experience
✔ Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
✔ Ability to handle numerical calculations accurately
✔ Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute
✔ Physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
✔ Ability to use standard office and warehouse equipment
✔ Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and team-oriented mindset

Physical Requirements

🔹 Standing/walking 3–5 hours per day
🔹 Stooping, kneeling, or crouching 1–3 hours per day
🔹 Using hands and arms 6–8 hours per day
🔹 Reaching above shoulder occasionally
