Outreach Program Coordinator

Our client, based in Dallas, Texas, is in search of an Outreach Program Coordinator to become a valuable addition to their team. This is a full-time, on-site position with occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities of the Outreach Program Coordinator:

  • Foster engagement between the organization and the community
  • Develop and coordinate outreach projects with local service organizations
  • Align church members and groups with volunteer opportunities
  • Support Mission and Outreach strategic initiatives
  • Act as the primary contact for Mission and Outreach activities
  • Coordinate volunteer efforts, including recruitment and orientation
  • Collaborate with the Associate for Mission and Outreach on logistics
  • Maintain relationships with local nonprofit and community partners
  • Prepare reports on project progress and volunteer impact
  • Participate in monthly Mission and Outreach Committee meetings
  • Engage professionally with parishioners, staff, and external partners
  • Assist parishioners in utilizing their spiritual gifts in outreach settings

Qualifications for the Outreach Program Coordinator:

  • Preference for a college degree
  • 1 year of project management experience in nonprofit, ministry, or community setting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Initiative, collaboration, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Availability for occasional weekend work and travel for outreach events
