Symphonic Distribution is a 100% independent music distribution and marketing company headquartered in downtown Tampa, FL, and with offices in Brooklyn, Nashville, and Bogota,  Colombia. In a Nutshell // 


The  Coordinator, Content Operations will play a pivotal role in streamlining the content  operations processes to enhance the quality of the content.   This role will help align all elements of  the content lifecycle from start to finish to help ensure accuracy, process improvement, minimize  errors, and improve efficiency.   The  Coordinator, Content Operations will also be responsible for analyzing and monitoring the effectiveness of content delivery, taking appropriate action and providing service recovery as needed. 


Compensation: $3,025,000.00 - $3,932,500.00 COP Monthly  


What you will do // 

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and take appropriate action with:
    • Pending Deliveries
    • Unresolved Delivery Errors
    • Failed Takedowns
    • Delivery Throughput
      • Improve delivery procedures and suggest delivery system  improvements wherever possible
  • Execute scripts or manual workflows when necessary to repair errors
  • Create, modify or run SQL queries to gather metrics or investigate errors
    • Respond to and action DSP Notices/Reports/Errors
  • Monitor UPC and ISRC usage and take appropriate action as needed
  • Assist with DSP relations
    • Assist with collecting information about our  DSP network,  information pertaining to potential pain points, opportunities, new features/products, etc.
  • Assist with the collection, organization and maintaining of current DSP  documentation and resources including:
    • XSD and XML specs
    • Contacts
    • Partner List (Monday and on Website)
      • White Label Partners
  • Delivery Methods
  • Delivery Specs
  • DDEX Specs
  • New Genres & Genre Mapping
  • Document the ingestion process of each DSP partner.
  • Coordinate the loading of back catalogs from clients, leveraging freelancers and/or employees.
  • Escalate situations as needed to the Manager, Content Operations.


What you need to have //

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • 3 years of related experience in technical or support functions involving systems.
  • Music industry experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience collaborating with  G  Suite apps, including  Google  Docs,  Google  Sheets,  and Google Slides.
  • Deep passion for emerging music.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Energetic and dynamic personality that enjoys human interaction and building relationships quickly. 
  • Professionalism and respect for others.


What will set you apart //

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, a technical discipline or equivalent
  • 3 years of content operations experience
  • Strong relationship with Digital Service Providers (DSP)
  • Some experience with databases, including running SQL queries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation.
