Description

As a Controls Engineer at Craft Recruiting, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing control systems for various projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with project teams to develop technical solutions, utilizing design tools like AutoCAD, and ensuring the successful installation and operation of commercial HVAC systems. You will engage in problem-solving, project management, and hands-on work in commercial building construction, renovations, or retrofits, making sure everything operates efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation & Controls, or a related field (Mechanical or Electrical preferred), OR equivalent technical training
• 3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, or similar design tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with the installation and operation of commercial HVAC systems
• Experience in commercial building construction, renovation, or retrofit projects

Nice to Have

• Certification or training in project management methodologies
• Knowledge of energy management systems and building automation technologies
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
