Compensation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage compensation structures, including salary adjustments, bonus programs, and merit increases
- Support the development of a company-wide compensation strategy aligned with industry standards and business objectives
- Conduct compensation market research and internal job evaluations to ensure competitive and fair pay practices
- Collaborate with HR and leadership on pay decisions, promotions, and role classifications
- Assist in job leveling initiatives and maintain comprehensive job description documentation
- Aid in the design and implementation of relocation packages and incentive plans
- Create clear and concise compensation statements outlining base pay, bonuses, benefits, and retirement contributions
- Administer and support benefits programs, such as health, dental, life, disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k), and COBRA
- Handle reconciliation and processing of monthly benefit plan invoices, benefit plan audits, and system monitoring
- Contribute to open enrollment preparations and benefit communications
- Maintain data integrity on HRIS/benefit platforms and ensure compliance with legal regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in compensation analysis or HR roles with a compensation focus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom) highly desirable
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Exhibit a high level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information
