- High school diploma or GED
- 2-5+ years of experience in Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programming; PC-DMIS Software
- 4-6+ years of conventional machining (turning, milling, drilling) Quality Inspection Experience
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to understand, track, organize, and successful complete multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, twist, and lift 26-50 pounds
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Ability to interpret and understand drawings, routers, and process specifications
- Ability to regularly and consistently meet production and quality performance metrics
- Receive and understand specific daily job assignments, work priorities, and work instruction
- Create timely CMM programs and reports to satisfy customer drawings, CAD models, and specifications
- Review report results and provide feedback to Manufacturing team and issue nonconformance records (NCRs) as applicable
- Maintain CMM daily and annual calibrations, hardware/accessories, and programs so they’re organized and in good working order
- Recommend fixturing concepts to Engineering for better CMM inspections
- Perform timely incoming, in-process, and final inspections as well as non-destructive testing as needed
- Review, and verify job routers (shop travelers) for completeness and compliance and issue certificate of conformance
- Input inspection data and findings into manufacturing software system, databases and forms, and issue nonconformance records (NCRs) as applicable
- Maintain calibration database and issue calibration stickers for all Manufacturing gauges as needed
- Organize, clean, and maintain work area, tools, equipment, etc. daily in a safe and secure manner
- Establish and maintain effective, positive, and professional communication with all co-workers
- Follow specific written and oral instruction for inspection of visual, dimensional, and process elements
- Interpret GD&T blueprint callouts and other drawing readings, including specifications for CMM programming and reporting
- Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and process inspections to determine conformance using Gauge Pins, Borescopes, Optical Comparators, Caliper, Micrometers, and CMM
- Perform non-destructive testing and record evaluation results
- Review functional test results for conformance and report nonconformance to Area and Quality Supervisors, i.e., Airflow, Liquid Flow, Pressure Testing
- Enter, monitor, and maintain calibration database and issue calibration stickers
- Record results on inspection and testing forms and in system, and issue NCRs when data does not meet acceptable limits
- Enter, monitor, and maintain NCR records in database
- Sign-off documentation to authenticate inspections and findings
- Issue certificate of conformance for completed routers
- Perform other tasks as required
