Clinical Pharmacist (PRN)
Overview
The Clinical Pharmacist ensures injured workers receive appropriate, evidence-based medication therapy through timely clinical interventions. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional clinical teams to evaluate treatment plans, identify risks, and recommend optimal medication strategies.
Training Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Post Training: Flexible in hours | 10-20 hrs per week
Key Responsibilities

Assess prescription appropriateness by reviewing medical history, drug interactions, contraindications, and potential adverse effects; recommend adjustments as needed.

Utilize data analytics to identify medication usage trends, safety concerns, and opportunities for cost savings.

Review medication requests from providers to determine approval for dispensing based on clinical guidelines.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to educate them on appropriate medication use, including guidelines, drug interactions, and best practices.
Skills & Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical pharmacy experience
( Candidates with several years of experience are strongly encouraged to apply) -
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.

Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate clinical data and make informed medication decisions.
Education

Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.

Current, active pharmacy (RPh) license in good standing.
Certifications & Licenses

Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license.
Languages
