Chief Development Officer Role:

• Drive the organization’s philanthropic initiatives
• Oversee all aspects of fund development aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic goals
• Lead annual giving, capital campaigns, endowment growth, special events, and community engagement outreach
• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategy supporting annual giving and capital campaign objectives
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward donor relationships
• Lead multi-million annual funding goal and capital campaign phase
• Work closely with senior leadership, board members, and volunteers to maximize fundraising impact
• Cultivate major gifts and corporate sponsorships
• Design innovative donor engagement strategies
• Build relationships with local leaders, businesses, and philanthropic organizations
• Support fundraising and community engagement initiatives in local branches
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams
• Provide regular reports on fundraising progress and opportunities

Chief Development Officer Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7-10 years of Non-Profit Fundraising experience
• Proven success in leading large-scale fundraising efforts generating a minimum of $3M annually
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Expertise in donor relations and engaging diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge of strategic campaign planning and donor database management
• Passion for organizational mission and strategic vision alignment
