Location: Ohio (various shifts including Day, Mid, Night)
Schedule: Full-time, shift will vary (Day, Mid, Night)
Pay Rate: $18–22/hr

We are looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our modern and innovative pharmacy team, delivering outstanding service to our patients and partner organizations.
Responsibilities
Practice all state and federal pharmacy regulations for ordering, handling, and management of prescriptions and/or prescription drug products.
Maintain all security and privacy rules regarding the use and handling of protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA and applicable state laws.
Update and maintain patient profile records as necessary according to state pharmacy regulations.
Attend pharmacy team meetings as required.
Drive quality efforts by adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Follow all state and pharmacy regulations and rules as designated by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy and the FDA.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment as mandated by FDA rules/regulations.
Support pharmacy and pharmacist services by stocking, labeling, assembling, and filling medications or other tasks as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
Assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed medications/supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs.
Maintain a safe pharmacy environment by complying with SOPs, rules and regulations.
Clean and help maintain pharmacy areas, equipment and workstations as directed by SOPs.
Transition medications through various states of workflow.
Protect patients and employees by adhering to strict infection-control policies and protocols.
Organize medications for pharmacist dispensing by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, and assembling patient orders.
Contribute to the pharmacy team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
18+ years of age; high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacy.
Ability to work flexible shift times (Day, Mid, Night).
Attention to detail.
Willingness to work in a team environment and promote company culture.
Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems.
Experience working in a community, mail-order, or hospital pharmacy as a registered pharmacy technician is a plus.

Note: Because this position requires working with Hazardous Drugs (HD), PPE (gloves, respiratory protection, gown, etc.) will be required. Medical approval for respiratory protection (N95, full face, SCBA, PAPR) is required. Physical exertion: walking up to 50% of time, standing up to 100% of time, squatting/bending up to 20% of the time, and lifting up to 50 lbs for up to a twelve-hour shift. Associate must understand risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity, reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.
