About the Role:

Summit Freight Lines, a leading transportation and logistics company based in San Diego, is seeking experienced CDL Class A Truck Drivers for regional routes throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada. We’re looking for safety-conscious professionals who want consistent miles, dependable home time, and competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class A vehicle on regional routes (primarily CA, AZ, NV)

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight

• Maintain accurate logbooks and ELD records in compliance with DOT regulations

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

• Handle freight safely (mostly no-touch freight)

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL license

• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience

• Clean MVR and PSP records (no major violations in the last 3 years)

• Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screening

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a safety-first mindset
