We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Cannabis Processor to join our production team. This role involves hands-on processing of cannabis products, including pre-rolls, vape cartridges, tinctures, and potentially beverages. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cannabis plant attributes, harvesting techniques, and production processes to ensure high-quality, compliant products. * * * **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare and process cannabis products such as pre-rolls, vape cartridges, tinctures, and beverages according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards. * Harvest and handle cannabis plant material carefully to preserve key attributes such as potency, flavor, and aroma. * Operate and maintain processing equipment efficiently and safely. * Perform trimming, grinding, mixing, and packaging tasks with precision. * Measure and blend ingredients accurately to create consistent tinctures and beverages. * Monitor product quality and perform quality control checks throughout the production process. * Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations and internal safety standards. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and product integrity. * Assist with inventory management, including tracking raw materials and finished products. * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. * Continuously learn about cannabis plant properties, extraction methods, and product innovations to improve processes. * * * **Qualifications:** * Previous experience in cannabis processing, manufacturing, or related production roles preferred. * Basic knowledge of cannabis plant anatomy, harvesting, and processing techniques. * Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs accurately. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and compliance. * Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks. * Familiarity with cannabis regulations and compliance is a plus. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic industry. * * * **Working Conditions:** * Work may require standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks. * Must adhere to strict safety and sanitation protocols. * Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed. _About Vangst:_ _Vangst is the cannabis industry’s hiring platform.
