**Job Summary** We are seeking a knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable Budtender to join our dispensary team. The Budtender is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by educating guests on cannabis products, ensuring compliance with all state regulations, and supporting daily dispensary operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cannabis, customer service, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Greet and assist customers in a welcoming, professional manner - Educate customers on cannabis products including flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, and topicals - Make personalized product recommendations based on customer needs, preferences, and tolerance levels - Accurately process sales using POS systems and handle cash transactions - Verify customer IDs and ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations - Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, including strains, effects, terpene profiles, and dosing - Assist with inventory management, restocking, and product displays - Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant sales floor - Support opening and closing procedures as assigned - Work collaboratively with team members to meet sales goals and provide consistent service **Qualifications** - Must be 21+ years of age (or as required by state law) - Valid cannabis worker permit or ability to obtain one prior to start - Prior retail, hospitality, or cannabis dispensary experience preferred - Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment - Reliable attendance and punctuality **Physical Requirements** - Ability to stand for extended periods of time - Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed - Comfortable working in a retail environment with varying foot traffic
