Description

As a Bartender at WorkWhile, you will bring energy and professionalism to the bar, crafting drinks and delivering excellent guest experiences. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving cocktails, beer, and wine, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and providing friendly and efficient service to guests. You’ll balance speed with accuracy, ensuring each drink meets quality standards while keeping up with high-volume service. By engaging with guests and supporting the front-of-house team, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

Requirements

• Hands-on Experience: Previous bartending experience in a bar, restaurant, or event setting.

• Drink Knowledge: Ability to make classic cocktails, pour beer and wine correctly, and maintain consistency.

• Food Safety & Compliance: Understanding of alcohol service laws, ID verification, and safe serving practices.

• Customer Service: Strong communication skills with a guest-first approach, able to handle requests and concerns professionally.

• Efficiency & Organization: Ability to multitask under pressure while keeping the bar stocked, clean, and orderly.

Nice to Have

• Craft Cocktail Skills: Experience with infusions, syrups, or multi-ingredient cocktails.

• Wine & Beer Knowledge: Ability to recommend pairings and explain differences to guests.

• Event Experience: Prior experience bartending for banquets, weddings, or catering events.

• Upselling Ability: Skill in suggesting premium options or specialty cocktails to enhance the guest experience.
