Overview
Think Together is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Assistant Site Coordinator to help lead an Expanded Learning program. This role supports the Site Coordinator in providing high-quality programming and ensuring compliance with all grant and organizational requirements. The Assistant Site Coordinator acts as a key point of contact for students, staff, parents, and school partners — helping maintain a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environment.
Responsibilities
Support and help manage day-to-day operations of the expanded learning program.
Supervise and guide program staff, including Afterschool Youth Leaders and Enrichment Instructors.
Assist with interviews, hiring recommendations, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Provide training, coaching, and professional development support for staff.
Create and organize program schedules for academic, recreation, and enrichment activities.
Plan and participate in events and field trips.
Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school personnel.
Recruit students to meet attendance goals per grant requirements.
Step into instructional roles when needed to maintain student-staff ratios.
Ensure compliance with Think Together and school policies to maintain a safe learning environment.
Assist in data collection, timesheet processing, attendance tracking, and reporting.
Monitor and promote workplace safety.
Attend meetings and required trainings; travel may be required for off-site events.
Uphold Think Together’s mission and represent the organization with professionalism.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (copy required upon hire).
At least 6 months of experience working with youth in a classroom or afterschool setting.
Supervisory experience required, preferably in an educational or afterschool program.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must pass Live Scan background check (fingerprinting) and provide a clear TB test.
