Our client in Cincinnati, OH is currently seeking an Assistant Store Manager on a direct hire basis.

Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure freshness, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Manage inventory, vendor relations, and financial aspects of grocery operations
• Implement merchandising strategies to enhance sales
• Utilize sales data to optimize production output and minimize shrinkage
• Make informed purchasing decisions based on market trends
• Coordinate timely and efficient freight delivery
• Train, develop, and evaluate store employees
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
• Collaborate with leadership on company directives and promotions
• Establish and enforce operational policies aligned with organizational goals

Assistant Store Manager Background Profile:

• 5+ years of retail grocery management experience
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proven ability in employee training and development
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficient in multitasking and analytical tasks
• Knowledge of government regulations and retail math
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varying environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
