Are you passionate about precision and quality in assembly? Our client is seeking a dedicated Assembler to join their team in the Worcester area. As a key player on the production line, you will utilize your skills in assembly to contribute to the creation of high-quality parts.
 

Responsibilities of the Assembler

• Assemble and perform testing of high altitude pressure suit garments, helmets and associate hardware

• Punch holes and install snap fasteners in various components

• Perform lacing and hand sewing of various suit layers & components

• Classroom trainer of field suit technicians on maintenance and periodic overhaul procedures

• Soldering Experience.

• Conduct quality control checks to ensure product standards are met.

• Escalate assembling issues to the production supervisor as needed.

• Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.

• Perform other duties as required to support the production team.
   

Requirements of the Assembler

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and assembly instructions.

• Ability and familiarity with the use of hand tools ex screwdriver, hole punch and dead blow mallet, scissors, etc. and other manually operated tools

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to evolving production needs.
   

Compensation/Benefits for the Assembler

• $17.50 hourly (Assignment 3-4 months)

• Monday to Friday / 7am to 3:30pm
