We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Manager to oversee multiple automotive detailing operations in dealerships in Tampa, FL, and surrounding areas. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, this role plays a key part in leading daily site operations, managing teams, maintaining client relationships, and driving operational and financial success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Leadership -
• Oversee daily operations at multiple dealership detailing locations within the assigned region
• Ensure each location is adequately staffed, scheduled, and resourced to meet client needs
• Support Store Managers in enforcing company policies, safety procedures, and service standards
• Review profit and loss statements regularly and optimize labor costs to ensure profitability
• Strategic Planning & Growth
• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to workforce planning, operational strategy, and client service goals
• Assist with new site launches by coordinating readiness, setup, and operational planning
• Anticipate seasonal shifts and adjust staffing or resources to maintain consistent performance
• Take on special assignments or strategic initiatives as directed by the VP of Operations
• Team Development & Communication
• Build and support collaborative, high-performing teams across all locations
• Ensure clear communication of expectations both vertically (to senior leaders) and horizontally (across peer teams)
• Facilitate inter-market staffing flexibility when needed, including temporary relocations and team support
• Encourage a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Client Engagement
• Foster strong, service-driven relationships with dealership leadership teams
• Respond to client concerns with professionalism and urgency, driving customer satisfaction
• Represent the company's values and service standards in all client interactions
Qualifications:
• Proven experience managing multi-site operations or district-level teams
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze labor budgets and staffing needs to maintain profitability
• Knowledge of dealership operations and vehicle detailing processes
Physical Demands:
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently.
• Manual dexterity to operate cleaning tools, pressure washers, vacuums, and detailing equipment.
• Use close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjust focus, work in various light conditions
• Repetitive hand and arm movements during polishing, waxing, and scrubbing.
• Occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching to reach vehicle undersides or roof areas.
• Visual acuity to spot fine details, dirt, scratches, or blemishes on vehicle surfaces. Talk, hear audible alarms, voice commands with background noise.
• Maintain alertness for 4-8 hour shifts, maintain concentration/focus for 4-8 hours shifts.
• Ability to regularly bend body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, getting in and out of customer vehicles.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle - press pedals, shift gears, turn head to view mirrors.
Working Conditions
• The worker is subject to both environmental conditions.
• Activities occur inside and outside.
• The worker can be exposed to extreme heat/cold temperatures.
• Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, i.e: wind, rain, and humidity.
• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, dust, fumes, and strong odors.
