Agricultural Transport Driver

Start your new career as an Agricultural Transport Driver with MAU at South Carolina State Ports Authority in Mt. Pleasant, SC. As an Agricultural Transport Driver you will operate container handling equipment on Ports Authority property to facilitate container yard, rail and vessel operations.

What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required
  • Must have a valid SC Driver’s License
  • Satisfactory driving record (no more than 3 infractions within 5 years)
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Valid TWIC card required
  • Ability to bend, lift heavy equipment, and climb two-story rail cars
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Excellent attendance
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
What You’ll Do as an Agricultural Transport Driver
  • Operate Yard Truck equipment to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas
  • Inspect and report the condition of container handling equipment for safety and maintenance
  • Develop and improve operating skills in container handling equipment in a production environment with little or no supervision
  • Fuel equipment when required/directed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
